At the heart of the world’s most vulnerable regions, where local churches strive daily to restore a sense of dignity, the organization LOVE AND POWER &THE PUROTIN  stands steadfastly alongside the destitute.
Our mission is as straightforward as it is essential: to translate our faith into tangible humanitarian action, ensuring a brighter future for those too often overlooked by society.

To break the cycle of poverty, LOVE & POWER OF THE PUROTIN implements cross-disciplinary programs designed to meet the fundamental needs of families:

Education: Empowering the Youth

We facilitate academic support programs to guarantee children access to knowledge—the cornerstone of their future freedom. Each year, as the new school term approaches, we provide essential school supplies (notebooks, textbooks, stationery, and bags). Furthermore, we provide scholarships to cover tuition fees for selected students. Annually, between 500 and 1,000 children benefit from this comprehensive educational support.

Food Security: Addressing Urgent Needs

We provide direct nutritional assistance to the most vulnerable to address immediate food shortages. Our contributions include staples such as rice, sugar, and produce. While we occasionally organize communal meal distributions, we primarily provide dry goods for families to take home. This gesture is intended to bring solace and joy to children and families facing severe hardship. Every year, we support thousands of children across Togo—specifically in Lomé, Atakpamé, Hiéatro, Anié, and Doumé. In 2026, we have already provided prepared meals to approximately 800 children within these communities.

Economic Empowerment: Fostering Sustainable Independence

We are engaged in a daily struggle to improve the living conditions of orphans, widows, and women in highly precarious situations. Our primary objective for 2026 is the Empowerment of Women.2026 Ambition: Economic Independence
This year marks a significant milestone in our journey. Our ambition for 2026 is resolute: to guide 500 women toward total financial independence. As of April 2026, we have already successfully provided financial empowerment grants to 30 women.

In order to provide a lasting and sustainable solution for families, we have committed to supporting women and young girls by providing the financial resources necessary to launch or bolster small-scale income-generating activities. We hold the firm conviction that an independent woman serves as the cornerstone of a stable and resilient family.
To achieve this vision, our initiative focuses on three strategic pillars:Vocational Training: Implementing educational programs designed to equip participants with essential practical skills.
Financial Seed Funding: Providing the capital required to initiate micro-businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.
Strategic Mentorship: Offering close guidance to ensure the long-term viability of their projects, thereby enabling them to provide for their children’s needs with dignity.By empowering women to manage profitable enterprises, we ensure they are positioned to contribute meaningfully to their household’s welfare.

 It is our profound hope that this project will provide vital relief to families in distress and restore a sense of hope and joy to the children we serve.
